At Malaica, Pascal is instrumental in shaping systems that make personalised, high quality care accessible to mums across Kenya.
A trailblazer in Kenya’s healthcare space, Lorraine has spent over a decade driving innovation in health-tech, with a focus on maternal and reproductive health. Her passion for transforming care systems is backed by deep clinical expertise in Obstetrics and Gynecology. At Malaica, she leads with purpose,shaping a future where expert care and smart technology come together to support every woman through pregnancy and beyond.
Victor began building software commercially as a teenager,launching his first point-of-sale system for a local supermarket while still in school. Since then, he’s founded multiple tech ventures, including SaaS platforms and software consultancies. With a background in Computer Science from the University of Nairobi and a passion for using technology to solve real world problems, Victor now leads Malaica’s tech development ,driven by a mission to revolutionize healthcare for millions of women.
Isis has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard. After management roles at Google and MTV, she ventured out to build the largest pregnancy and parenting community in Kenya called MumsVillage which later joined forces with Malaica.
Markus is a global healthcare executive. He spent 16 years at Lonza Group Ltd, including as CEO, of the industry-leading CDMO, followed by 18 years at Genentech/Roche, the global leader in biotechnology and personalised healthcare. Among other key roles, Markus was the General Manager of Roche Sub-Saharan Africa. He gets inspired by catalysing new, innovative, disruptive approaches and business models that have the potential to deliver profound impact on customers, societies and economies. This is why he joined Malaica’s board of directors: To redefine how we deliver obstetric care.
