6. FreMo Birth & Medical Centre
FreMo is an organization that aims to address the gap we have in terms of maternal healthcare. They operate in Kawangware and have made a significant impact in the five years they have been in existence. Women from the neighborhood who cannot afford hospital fees come to FreMo to have a safe delivery.
Since the centre serves low-income members of the community, they accept donations in form of money, food, and clothing for the mums coming in to give birth. They also have volunteer positions to help staff the birth centre, provide outreach to clients, and educate midwives in training while learning from the skilled, local staff.

Rescue Dada is a charitable children’s institution that focuses on rehabilitating and reintegrating young girls from the street.
